March 13 - Long Flight:
I
don't post before my bride and I travel. If I have time, I try to post
something about our travels when we get back. We flew to Boston on
March 13th to attend the NAEA convention in Boston. We had to change
planes twice - in Phoenix and again in Milwaukee just to get to Boston.

March 9 - Blossom:
Today,
I finished my watercolor of "Blossom at the Vet" in my Saturday morning
painters group. Afterwards, I went to the bar to root on our Jayhawks
as they won their last reuglar season game against Baylor.

March 6 - Las Cruces Bound:
I had two paintings accepted into the 2019 NMWS-SC Spring Show in Las
Cruces, New Mexico the Exhibition will be in the Doņa Ana Art Council
Gallery in Las Cruces. Barbara Nechis was the Juror. The exhibition
runs May 6-28, 2019 at the Doņa Ana Art Council Gallery, 1740 Avenida
de Mercado, in Mesilla (Las Cruces), NM. The Artists' Opening is
Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 4-7 pm.

March 5 - Painting Blossom:
I've painted Blossom before - but this time, It's from a
photo I took of her while we were waiting at the vets for her annual
shots. She is never very happy about doing this. |

March 2 - My Exhibit Opening:
Thank
you to all my friends and fellow artists who came to the opening
reception of my first gallery show. A special thanks to Roy Johnson who
invited me to hang my paintings at Sumner & Dene. There was also a
surprise when Mayor Keller showed up. It's not every city that has a
mayor with an Art History degree.
