October 31 - New Watercolor Started: After my recent trip to Taos - I decided to attempt a painting of a landscape. Perhaps I'll try a vertical version as well after I finish the horizontal one. |

October 30 - Watercolor Entry: I just completed my entry into the American Watercolor Society's 153rd Annual International Exhibition the exhibition will be at the Salmagundi Club in New York City (April 6 - April 25, 2020) the title of my watercolor is "Holy Mudder". |

October 29 - Sagebrush Inn Award: I entered my watercolor of "Shadow on San Francisco De Asis" in a competition at the NMAEA Conference last week at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos. I won and will get two free nights at the Sagebrush Inn. My painting is worth much more than the award but at least I'll see it hanging at the Sagebrush Inn when I'm up there each June. |

October 28- Driving Back From Taos: On my drive back from Taos I stopped a few times along the Rio Grande to shoot photos of the fall colors. |

October 27 - Balloons In Taos: As I left Taos this morning - I had to pause long enough to shoot photos of the hot-air show in the sky. |

October 26 - Kaleidocycle Workshop: 30 art teachers took my Kaleidoscope workshop at the NMAEA Fall Conference yesterday at the Sagebrush Inn as part of the New Mexico Art Educators Fall Conference. |

October 25 - Taos: I'm driving up to Taos this morning for the NMAEA Conference - I'm doing my Kaleidocycle Workshop at 1:00 pm at the Sagebrush Inn for New Mexico art teachers. |

October 24 - New Watercolor Started: I started a drawing, this morning, for a new watercolor - using photos I took on the first day of Balloon Fiesta - they did not launch that morning - but, they inflated and put on a great show for us. |
||||
October 19 - Progress: I made good progress this morning on "Fire Her Up" - I have yet to remove the blue Art Gum protecting the white and lighter areas. |
||||
October 18 - "Fire Her Up": Started a drawing this morning - then went to paint with my Friday friends. Got a good start on my new watercolor "Fire Her Up" this morning. Perhaps I'll finish it tomorrow painting with my Saturday friends. |

October 16 - Rail Runner to Santa Fe: We took the Rail Runner to Santa Fe to shop and get lunch. It was a very relaxing ride and lunch at "The Shed" was fantastic, even though my bride had too much to drink. |

October 14 - MasterWorks Entries: These are the 3 watercolors that I plan to enter into MasterWorks - Entries should be open on November 1st |

October 13 - It's Getting Colder: Our family is visiting for Balloon Fiesta and the weather is turning cooler - so, we tried out our new fire pit last night. |

October 12 - We Love Our Balloons: Why would we ever think about moving - we love our house - plus the view of the balloons from our backyard can't get any better. |
||||
October 10 - Balloon Fiesta: The only way to watch the balloons - that's our youngest son Buddy watching the balloons from our back yard. A few more shots of balloons from our backyard this morning. Shari is shooting photos of the balloons. |

October 8 - My Paintings: I have two watercolors in this falls NMWS National exhibition. |

October 7 - More Balloons: I was able to photograph one of the "Dawn Patrol" balloons this morning. They go up early to thest the winds to make sure it's safe for others to launch. |

October 6 - Balloons Over Our House: It's an extra treat to have the balloons fly right over our house - and even land in the neighborhood. |

October 5 - Balloon Fiesta With Old Friends: We got up at 2:30 am to catch the bus to this years Balloon Fiesta with old friends. We met Tom and Robin on our 50 day cruise to Europe. It was fun to have them in Albuquerque to show around. We did the Balloons, an Art Fair, lunch at the Range and the Watercolor exhibition I'm in. It was a short but wonderful visit. |

October 3 - Morning in Albuquerque: Beautiful sunrise this morning - I hope the weather stays this great for the Balloon Fiesta which starts on Saturday. |

October 2 - Pouring Workshop: First day of the "Pouring Workshop" lots of fun. |
||||
October 1 - Fall Exhibition Demo: Fantastic demo at the watercolor meeting tonight - Finally an artist who pours - if you take her workshop you will have fun all week. |
