spent a very pleasant day at Indian Market in Santa Fe. We walked the
market for hours and enjoyed lunch above the market.

an Isotopes baseball game last night - our Topes lost to the El Paso
Chihauhuas 10 - 5. Also, I made good progress on my new wayercolor
"Princess Singer" this morning.

At last night's Art
Board meeting, fresco artist Federico Vigil showed the board
members a "cartoon" used to transfer drawings to the wet plaster for
the convention center fresco.

Yesterday - We
hired a crew to take out the stumps and roots in our back yard. We hope
to put a flower bed in that location next year.

this morning - now I'll have several to paint. I took the photo on the
Rio Grande just South of Taos in June.

August 8:
Only Thunder, Lighting
and Wind yesterday - But, today we actually got rain - my bride is
opening the shades so we can see the rain - perhaps we will have a
Monsoon Season this year at last. Also: I plan to put nine of my prints
in the State Fair.
Each are matted and will fit into 20 x 16 inch frames.

This afternoon I finished
another drawing for a new watercolor - she often sang in the Wheelhouse
Bar on our cruise ship. We preferred listening to live music in a bar
after dinner rather than the large productions in the ships theater.

Market in Santa Fe this year - We hope to visit our favorite artists -
Sharon Dry Flower, Susan Fowell and Kathleen Wall. Also - I did a
drawing today of a single "Polka Dot Dancer" for a new watercolor

At our critique session
yesterday - my friends told me that my new watercolors were exhibit
quality. So, I framed them and plan on entering these two
watercolors in the NM State Fair tomorrow.

I finished my "Polka Dot Dancer" today - it's 16 x 20 inches - will fit a 22 x 28 inch frame - it's on 300 lb Arches Rough.

I'm finally getting by "BLOG" back together again - even trying to go
back and fix the links that were not working correctly. My bride just
finished the top of her new quilt - we went out today to buy backing
material for it.
