Taos Watercolor Workshop:
       Every June you can find me at the Sagebrush inn in Taos, New Mexico. I've been attending this same workshop since 1985. Of course the drive is easy now since we moved to Albuquerque. It's only 124 miles from our house to the Sagebrush Inn. Yes, I go up there to paint - but mostly I visit with friends and drink a lot of wine - life is good.

Old & New Friends:
       It's All About Old & New Friends - that's why I keep returning to Taos every June.

Workshops & Demos:
      There are all kinds of workshops and demos during the week I'm in Taos. But we learn much more from watching other artists doing their unique approach to watercolor.

Leaders and Students:
      The workshop is attended by all levels of ability - we all learn from each other. Everybody gains after a week in Taos.

         
...

My Watercolors:
        I did around 9 paintings during the week in Taos. We each put our work on display in our rooms on Friday Night.

Remembering Old Friends:
         A ceremony for someone we missed from past workshops.

Critique Night:
      Everyone puts out one painting so we can get comments from our friends.

Artists We Learn From Everyday:
      There are many good artists who show up in Taos - some are worth paying close attention to their working process.

Friends & Neighbors:
      These are the wonderful people who run into at the Sagebrush Inn.

Besides, Eating, Talking and Drinking:
      Besides, Eating, Talking and Drinking - What else is there to do - Well, actually some people actually paint some of the time.

Wine Party and Slideshow:
      Matt and I did the Friday Wine Party - just before dinner. Friday night fell together so very well - My room was set up for our walk through - Our wine party was successful - Everyone enjoyed the slide show and the patio in front of my room was set up for dinner - Plus there was live music from the Sagebrush Bar next door. Life could not be better.
