Good Start: I got a start on a new watercolor - this one will be a challenge, lots of detail which I hope I can get by suggesting the detail. "Dia de los Muertos" is from a photo I took of a couple we met in Old Town. |
More Flowers: I completed "Sydney Blooms" - my reference photo is from our first visit (October 2018) to Sydney, Australia. Our cruise was 28 wonderful days aboard the Golden Princess. |
NM Lottery: I entered this painting in a competition the lottery is having for a picture on a 2005 lottery ticket. |
"Two Ladies" Finished: Today I finished my watercolor "Two Ladies" I shot my reference photo in Kyoto, Japan - they may have rented the Kiminos which many tourist do. I even impressed myself capturing the white on white effect. |
Thank You NMWS: |
Balloon Wave: Here are the steps in my "Balloon Wave" My reference was a photo I took as the balloon floated over our backyard last week. |
Two Ladies: I made good progress on my new watercolor "Two Ladies" - I took my reference photo in Kyoto, Japan - they were ordering ice cream cones at a roadside stand. |
Day of the Dead: (Nov 2nd) We spent the afternoon taking in the "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) festivities in Old Town - then we had a late lunch at Church Street Cafe. |
Demo - NMWS: Dave Cook did a demo this morning at the New Mexico Watercolor Society meeting - we had a great turn out to see Dave's demo. |
